We need to walk your property to be sure a Casita will fit (usually does!) and that your existing utilities are adequate (almost always, they are!) We’ll be looking out for any site-specific constraints such as large trees, steep slopes or special easements. We love to talk about our Casitas, so ask away! We gather detailed information about your property, utilities and unique local regulations, if any. We mark out your Casita size and location on-site and adjust as necessary. We review exterior finishes, window and door options, material samples, appliance specifications and cabinet configurations together to help you make confident design decisions. We prepare a preliminary site plan documenting your Casita, and provide you with a comprehensive fixed price proposal and construction schedule.

We prepare detailed construction documentation for your Casita. We coordinate all necessary consultants, such as surveyors and arborists (often required by local regulations). We apply for and obtain all entitlements and permits. We place orders for long lead time items such as windows and appliances.

We build your Casita! This is where all our advance design work and detailed preparation pays off.We focus on quickly and efficiently bringing your Casita “home.”
